White Room – ‘Twisted Celebration’

“It’ll sweep you off your feet and into the psychedelic vortex” – DIY Magazine

“Superb psychedelic pop music with a touch of dirt under its fingernails” – Clash

“Your new fave rock n’ roll band” – Wonderland

White Room have unleashed Twisted Celebration, the penultimate track from their forthcoming double EP out 1st December via Deltasonic Records (The Coral, The Vryll Society).

Having risen into 2017 nestled atop a wave of increasing attention with their radiant, self-aware brand of psych rock, the enigmatic five-piece have gently crept into indie music’s nucleus over the past year. Meshing together the sound of British sixties guitar pop with more contemporary influences such as Temples and Pond, the band provide music for dancing around without a care in the world or for sitting down, headphones in, looking for a new perspective.

Discussing the first part of their fourth AA release, frontman Jake Smallwood stated: “What started life as a folk song quickly progressed as we started messing with inspirations from George Martin’s orchestral builds and skippy cross percussion vibes from Pet Sounds”.

With their double EP Eight, out next week, and their debut UK headline tour kicking off to coincide with its release, the quintet’s frenetic live show is sure to propel them into 2018 at the forefront of the indie landscape.

White Room’s Twisted Celebrationis out on 24th November via Deltasonic Records and will be available on all platforms.
