Presents new animated video for ‘Cold Apartment’ Taken from debut album Infinite Worlds
Praise for Infinite Worlds
“Vagabon is an indie rock game changer… Tamko’s voice is enormous but delicate, and she belts it with gusto” – Pitchfork (Best New Music 8.5)
“Lætitia Tamko’s music exists in the spaces between memory and reality; in the spots where stories are misremembered and tangled up in our feelings. Tamko’s assured voice glows deeply and brightly like a new bulb.” –NPR
“Tamko’s power as an artist and producer rests on her ability to describe small situations that convey a higher truth. They’re meditations on what it really feels like to be a person on the prowl for something bigger than what you’ve been given, denying what the heart wants for what the soul needs.” – Stereogum
“The young New York artist builds mountains out of fragility.” – Consequence of Sound
Lætitia Tamko is professionally known as Vagabon. She is a solo artist, a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and according to Pitchfork, “an indie rock game-changer.”
The New Yorker, originally from Cameroon, released Infinite Worlds earlier this year and the album has become one of the year’s most critically acclaimed debuts.

It has already been named Best New Track by longtime supporters Pitchfork, and likewise lauded by Afropunk, W Magazine, NPR, The Guardian, Stereogum, Brooklyn Vegan Cool Hunting, and DIY. The new video does justice to the enormous support she’s received so far and tells the crushing narrative of returning belongings to a former lover, things that are yours (that I need to give back).

In defiance of female artists constantly being overshadowed by male collaborators, Lætitia learned how to play all the parts on the album herself. The resulting collection of songs is a masterclass in soaring, emotive, DIY, lo-fi indie rock, and one that’s deeply personal – both due to her all encompassing performance and the intimate nature of her lyricism.
Originally released in the US by Father / Daughter Records, it’s available again now in AUS / NZ viaBarely Dressed Records – on limited edition electric blue 12” vinyl and CD.
