Principal Release Visualiser For New Track – Crime Don’t Pay

Principal have just dropped their second visualiser from their forthcoming EP, Go To The Principal, which is out on October 13 via Spunk!/Caroline Australia.

The track is called Crime Don’t Pay, and is a synth-laden space jam, capable of lacing the listener with a powerful ear worm. Its retro-future narrative unfolds via the palpable dynamic between its two lead vocalists.

Inspired by the intersection between Kraftwerk and Robert Palmer, Principal unite over evil memories of their teenage years and create a world forged in synthesis and noise based music to create the directive “Go to the Principal”.
 
The shadowy outfit, consisting of renowned Melbourne musicians Henry Wagons, Gena Rose Bruce and Richard Bradbeer wrote and recorded this collection of songs around the glow of a Moog at R2 Studios in Los Angeles with Marc Orrell. Crossing the Pacific, they also dusted down a Korg Polysix and Roland System 100 at Goldview Studio in Melbourne.
