I Saw Red is the new EP release by Harry James Angus, featuring 4 tracks from his latest musical incarnation, a show called Struggle With Glory.
The EP was recorded in Melbourne with ARIA award winning producer Steven Schram. It features 4 original gospel jazz tracks written by Harry, each about a different well-known Greek myth, where the unstoppable torrent of fate is served up with barrelhouse piano, thumping double bass, soaring gospel choir vocals and the unmistakeable sound of Harry James Angus’ old dented trumpet.

After launching the show at The Church Of Bang Bang Boogaloo in Melbourne earlier this year, Harry set off on the most successful tour to date for gig hosting platform Parlour Gigs. The tour went nationwide, showcasing a stripped back version of Struggle With Glory in backyards and loungerooms across the country.
Now Harry will upscale the show to the full 9-piece band and gospel choir to perform Struggle With Glory throughout the summer at music and arts festivals and major events throughout Australia, including appearances at Melbourne Music Week, Mullum Music Festival, and Adelaide Arts Festival with more to be announced.
Struggle With Glory I Saw Red EP is out on Nov 16
