AWOLNATION

RELEASE VIDEO  ‘SEVEN STICKS OF DYNAMITE’  WATCH HERE

FEATURING DR WOO w/ APPEARANCES BY RICK RUBIN & DUFF MCKAGAN

Multi-platinum band AWOLNATION have shared the official music video for the track ‘Seven Sticks Of Dynamite’, which is taken from the band’s third studio album Here Come The Runts out February 2nd, 2018 via Red Bull Records.

The video premiered on PEOPLE magazine and was directed by Riley Harper (Hollywood stunt-double for titles such as Little Miss Sunshine, Straight Outta Compton, Sons of Anarchy etc) alongside frontman Aaron Bruno. The video was filmed at The Old Place in Agoura Hills, CA and features legendary tattoo artist Dr Woo, Rick Rubin, and Duff McKagan. Inspired by campy bar brawls in old western movies, the video centres around duelling biker and surfer gangs and, like the song the video builds to an epic climax sure to entertain.

“I’ve always wanted to make a video at The Old Place with all of my friends and showcase the spirit of old California,” says Aaron Bruno. Director Riley Harper adds, “It’s pretty awesome when you get to film a bar brawl, but when you have free reign to shoot it at your local watering hole with all of your friends, that’s just a recipe for a good time and a great outcome!”

Here Come The Runts will be available everywhere February 2nd, 2018. Fans can preorder the album at awolnationmusic.com and receive instant downloads of ‘Seven Sticks Of Dynamite,’ as well as ‘Passion’.

In support of Here Come The Runts, AWOLNATION will be embarking on a headlining tour with support from Nothing But Thieves on February 11th in Toronto, and touring the States until mid-March before crossing the pond for a European/UK run throughout the month of April. AWOLNATION

ANNOUNCES THIRD STUDIO ALBUM HERE COME THE RUNTS out February 2nd

BRAND NEW TRACK ‘SEVEN STICKS OF DYNAMITE’

PREORDER HERE COME THE RUNTS NOW 2018 EUROPEAN HEADLINE TOUR DATES ANNOUNCED TICKETS ON SALE FRIDAY

November 7, 2017 Multi-platinum artists AWOLNATION have announced the release of their third studio album, Here Come The Runts, on February 2, 2018. Fans can preorder the album starting now at awolnationmusic.com and receive instant downloads of ‘Seven Sticks of Dynamite,’ and current single ‘Passion,’ which was the #1 most added at US Alternative Radio and currently #19 on the Alt Radio charts. In the meantime fans can stream ‘Seven Sticks of Dynamite’ here.

Serving as a follow up to the platinum-certified debut album Megalithic Symphony, and 2015’s Run, which included US No. 1 hit ‘Hollow Moon (Bad Wolf)’ as well as Top 5 tracks ‘I Am’ and ‘Woman Woman,’ AWOLNATION’s third undertaking sees Aaron Bruno once again at the helm producing, writing and recording. “With this record I really wanted to make a rock n’ roll/pop album.” says Bruno. “And I say ‘pop’ how I grew up listening to it, in the sense of Dire Straits or Born In The U.S.A or The Cars or Tom Petty.”

Bruno spent 2016 crafting the album in his home studio nestled in the coastal mountain range separating the Pacific Ocean and the suburbs of Los Angeles where he grew up. The secluded location is reflected throughout the album. “The record definitely has a feel to it that seems parallel to the vibe of this mountain and the land,” Bruno notes. “It’s like a non-GMO record. There’s no fake shit on there, none of the vocals are tuned. It’s all real playing.”

In support of Here Come The Runts, AWOLNATION will be embarking on a North American headlining tour with support from Nothing But Thieves on February 11th in Toronto. They will then be crossing the pond for a European/UK run throughout the month of April. A full list of European dates can be found below. Tickets go on sale on Friday.
