How did you start?
Since early 70’s I loved to play electronic organ with rhythm machine in my childfood.
I have made my house tracks around 1990 – 1994 and released them from my label, then started live performances since 2015 after re-issuing from Rush Hour.
Where are you based?
I was born in Tokyo Japan,and living in Tokyo Japan now.
What are you working on right now?
Now I am working on new tracks of Soichi Terada and Omodaka.
What is your gear setup?
With my live performance I use ableton Live , Hardware sampler and analog mixer. I like to use Logic with Avid , hardware synthesizers and samplers for my productions.
What do you like to do outside of music and does it affect your music?
I like to swim and go to museums outside of music. Yes,it does. It seems they are working to forget music temporary for me.
How would you describe your music genre?
I might say that as ‘Japanese House Music made in early 90’s’ just for my house tracks.
Do you know any music theory?
I know basic musical theories about tonalities , harmonies and scoring through my electronic organ’s lessons.
What are your plans for the future?
I would like to have more live performances with my old tracks :D, and produce more songs in the future.
How did you get into music?
At first I would like to play electronic organ since my childhood as I wrote earlier. I used to play Beatles or 60’s screen music without listening to the original tracks from early 70’s.
What are you listening to at the moment?
Now I am listening to the Yasuo Sato’s soundcloud and sea sounds from beautiful Constanta beach in Romania.
Who are your top 5 influences and icons?
I just cannot specify whom. However I was influenced by all kind of electronic music that I heard ,many songs that I played with electronic organ and Japanese folk songs that I like.
When and were are you playing next?
I was playing in Macki Festival In Paris,and I will play my live performance in Neversea Festival in Constanta , Romania in this weekend (7th July Friday).
