Melbourne's Skydeck today share new single, 'Tourniquet Too', taken from debut album 'Eureka Moment' which is due out March 16 via Dinosaur City Records / Burger Records (USA). Listen here. 'Tourniquet Too' follows Skydeck's debut single, Live Bait, which saw a premiere from Noisey, playlisting on Apple Music (Best of the Week), FBi Radio (Sydney) and Most FM (NZ), plus praise from the likes of The Music, Savage Thrills and more. 'Tourniquet Too', is synth-pop/post punk hybrid, the lyrics spilling forth in a stream-of-consciousness ramble about the anxieties of life. "It's a fine on top of an unpaid fine, it's hiding the fact that you really tried", Mitch Clemens (Ciggie Witch) drones; his distinctive, monotone vocals in stark contrast to upbeat drums and winding synths. Skydeck wrote and recorded 'Eureka Moment' as an instrumental album four years back, using a synthesizer borrowed from a friend. The duo unearthed the files last year and only recently added lyrics to the songs. On 'Tourniquet Too', Clemens says, "With the aim to constrict and compress, stemming the flow of invasive thoughts, the tourniquet provides a sense of restraint and control, where the noose promises quick and conclusive deliverance."  “[Skydeck] make surreal, tinny pop informed by paranoid post-punk and inspired, generally, by the state of Australia today.” – Noisey

“Skydeck have a knack for off-kilter… very endearing lo-fi bedroom pop.” – FBi Radio
