Satan’s Satyrs shake us with their newest single, “Succubus,” which the band explain is their “ode to gothic cinema queens of eras past, who continue to whet our nocturnal appetites.” It’s the band’s first-ever recording as a four piece and is a taste of things to come. CVLT debuted the song today, calling the riffs and melodies “unforgettable”.
Satan’s Satyrs and Windhand -two of Virginia’s finest heavy bands- team up this winter for an amp-worshipping, acid trip from hell. Their split includes two brand new songs of smoldering gloom and grief from Windhand paired with three tracks of devilish, fuzz-drenched metal/punk from Satan’s Satyrs.
In case you missed it, Windhand recently shared their heavy-hitting video “Old Evil” which Revolver describes “as seductive as it is crushing…Singer Dorothia Cottrell’s angst-ridden delivery suits the band’s fuzzy wall of sound in way that is distinctly them-slinky, sexy, emotional, hard but also very vulnerable.”
