The ‘RISE’ of Mixmash Records continues with the launch of their first ever collective family album
Laidback Luke’s label, Mixmash Records, is definitely on the ‘RISE’. The founding father’s imprint is releasing its first-ever collective family album boosting some massive bangers! With a total of 7 tracks, the album only contains collabs from Mixmash exclusive artists: Laidback Luke, Mark Villa, Inpetto, Keanu Silva, Krosses, Pyrodox and Unity. After the release of Luke and Mark Villa’s well-received lead single, also titled Rise, the album is sure to hit the right note with many fans and will do well any playlist.
Lucky Number 7
The seven Mixmash family members, even though they are all from different walks of life, were a natural fit from the outset. How could that be? A Future House producer and a Bass House/Trap producer creating a track together? Challenging each other’s creativity, the end result is undeniable. Containing 7 boundary-pushing collabs from Future Bass, to Bass House, Trap and Future House – the album is the perfect Christmas present (keep an eye out for our exclusive limited edition white vinyl contest – powered by Vinylify).
Laidback Luke: ‘This album is something really special since it shows the direction we are taking with the label. Signing new talents from all over the world and connecting them with the more seasoned artists like myself to create some eclectic tracks. I am beyond proud!’
Coinciding with the release of the album RISE, Mixmash Records produced an exclusive seven-minute documentary which will be released next week. It highlights its future course and elaborates why the release of the ‘RISE’ album is so extremely important and well-timed.

About the artists
With Laidback Luke being the founding father of Mixmash Records and a brand on his own, he sets musical trends since his first forays into the scene. Individual successes in 2017 like his collab with Ralvero and Ina; XOXO and the massive ‘Paradise’ (+2.4M plays) together with Made In June and Bright Lights gained him even more notoriety amongst his peers.
Multi-talented DJ/producer Mark Villa is the junior of the bunch, who just turned 17. Already rocking stages at Tomorrowland, Parookaville the renowned Bootshaus and of course ADE, Villa is also popular amongst his colleagues. The heavily supported ‘No Mercy’, a collab with Jonas Blue (‘In Your Arms Tonight’), his official remix for Laidback Luke & Made In June ‘Paradise’ and another official remix for Cash Cash feat. Conor Maynard – All My Love clearly show Villa is the one to watch in 2018!
Keanu Silva and Inpetto provide the German influence in this album. Inpetto, known from massive hits like ‘Needin U So’, ‘Million Miles’ and great performances on Tomorrowland and Parookaville, they relentlessly keep pushing their ambitions and musical aspirations beyond any boundaries. Keanu Silva is the new kid on the block. Leaving a lasting impression on the scenes’ biggest DJ/producers like Laidback Luke, Don Diablo, Hardwell, Tiesto, Lucas & Steve, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and many others, the 26-year-old Silva is now skyrocketing to global dance scene domination and he is not about to come down!
Hailing from both India and the UK, the boys from Krosses are quickly becoming a brand on their own. Krosses seek to impart the importance of diversity in the unification of individuals to produce globally appealing memorable pop/dance music – resulting in amazing tracks like Waterfall, Gold and now the eclectic Rude Trumpet, we can’t wait to see what milestones they’ll hit next!
Pyrodox and Unity definitely bring the raw bass edgy sounds to the album. No wonder these guys hit off straight away in the studio. In short, Pyrodox has an extremely successful 2017 under his belt with performances on Mixmash Records Nikki Beach event during Miami Music Week and shows on Tomorrowland (BE) and the legendary Bootshaus (DU). Influenced by trap, moombahton and future bass artists like Diplo, Snake, and others, this youngster is working relentlessly in the studio and on his brand. Unity is one of Asia’s fastest rising stars with amazing DJ skills. While making waves in the Asian dance scene these last few years, Unity now spreads his wings to the rest of the world under the banner of Mixmash Records.
