Australian Tour confirmed for July 2017, New album In Mind out now

‘Stained Glass’ video still

Real Estate have shared an immersive, first-of-its-kind new music video for ‘Stained Glass’ – the second video to be released from their latest album In Mind, out now on Domino. Directed by Craig Allen, the interactive experience allows fans to colour and share their own animated kaleidoscope-like video, creating something unique and experimental. Watch the band’s own colour creation here.

Allen says of the video: “We were collectively excited by making a video that the band could create with their fans rather than for them. I’ve always been excited to find new ways of making content and this video is a fun—dare I say therapeutic—thing to play with, where you actually get to feel like you accomplish something at the end. That’s what is exciting to all of us and we’re extremely proud of what we’ve been able to create with the help of the fabulous MediaMonks team.”

A limited edition 7” for ‘Stained Glass’ backed with an exclusive track, the instrumental ‘Two Part, Part Two’, is also available to purchase now from Real Estate’s store. Much like its video counterpart, each 7” is a unique mix of colours. Purchase here.

Real Estate head back to our shores in July with live dates in Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney, plus a set at Splendour In The Grass Festival.

The band recently performed another highlight ‘Darling’ on Conan – the lead single off their new record In Mind, which has earned widespread praise from Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, the NY Times and more. Watch the performance here.
