PANDAMIC REVEAL AN ODE TO LOST PROPERTY IN NEW SINGLE ‘SWEATER’

by the partae
Hailing from Rockhampton, rowdy rapscallions Pandamic return with their first 2019 release in 'Sweater' alongside a tongue-in-cheek video clip and news they'll be joiningTOTTY nationally this September. An ode to lost property, 'Sweater' is short, fast and loud - everything a good skater tune should be. Gritty guitar and a punchy snare underlay infectious vocal melodies born in the tour van. Guitarist and vocalist Rhys explains the meaning behind the song "The song Sweater originally came about as I have a sweater that I’ve lost and found continuously over the many years that I’ve owned it. One day I thought I’d lost it for good and started writing the chorus hook about it while hoping it would come back (which it eventually did)." Birthed in a shed, their debut EP 'Scumbag' alternates between signature party pop-punk anthems and slower more heartfelt moments catching the attention of peers and media alike. The tight six-track 'Archer' quickly followed with breakout single 'Heck' receiving airplay on triple j and profiles on The Music, AAA Backstage and The AU Review. In the live circuit, their reputation for notoriously wild live shows landed them inclusions onGroovin The Moo, Big Pineapple Fest and BIGSOUND and sweaty support slots with US titans The Garden as well as Dune Rats, DZ Deathrays, The Rubens and The Bennies. Building on what they've learned on the road Pandamic are recording new material, aiming at pushing their rambunctious sound further and capturing the essence of their rowdy live performances.   PANDAMIC 'Sweater' OUT NOW VIA RATBAG RECORDS/BMG performing Friday, September 6th The Workers Club, Melbourne Saturday, September 7th The Chippo, Sydney  Friday, September 13th Black Bear Lodge, Brisbane Saturday, September 14th The Northern, Byron Bay TICKETS - tottyband.com Facebook Website Spotify Instagram
