TOURING WITH DUNE RATS & TIRED LION ON THEIR
FUCK YEAH LEDGE YEW! REGIONAL TOUR IN JUNE/JULY
Off the back of signing to Dune Rats label Ratbag Records and just ahead of the release of their new EPArcher on June 2, Pandamic have dropped the new video for first single SAM. Filmed on a four date Queensland jaunt with Triple J Hottest 100 Number 1’ers The Rubens, SAM is four mates from Rocky getting bent, loving life and telling tales.
Said guitarist/vocalist Rhys Adams of the track, “SAM is the story of the emotional roller coaster you get thrown into when someone very close to you suddenly starts to hate you and doesn’t want anything to do with you due to false accusations and petty high school rumours. The video was shot over 2016/2017 by a few legend mates. We wanted to show you what to expect at a live show and get yas keen to come have a chop!
Pandamic formed after months of hanging out writing and skating together, then taking up residency in a shed to self-record their debut EP Scumbag, which quickly gained attention and airplay at triple j on release in 2015. Off the back of Scumbag, the boys toured locally and abroad supporting Dune Rats, Guantanamo Baywatch, Columbus, The Pinheads & The Vanns and have played Groovin’ The Moo and El Grande festivals.
They kicked off 2017 with a support slot on The Rubens tour before heading into the studio to record EP #2, which was engineered and mixed by ex-Amity Affliction guitarist Troy Brady.
The boys are deeply committed to spreading their rowdiness throughout 2017 and will accompany good friends and label mates Dune Rats as well as Tired Lion on their huge regional tour of Australia throughout June and July.
Pandamic are Rhys Adams (Guitar/Vocals), Joe Scriha (Guitar/Vocals), Rangi Barnes (Drums) and Lyle Hardy(Bass/Vocals).
