(SAN FRANCISCO, CA — JUNE 27, 2017) Another Planet Entertainment, Superfly, and Starr Hill Presents are happy to announce the lineup for the now even bigger Barbary Tent at Outside Lands. Taking place August 11th-13th in Golden Gate Park at Outside Lands’ 10th anniversary festival, The Barbary lineup was co-curated with San Francisco’s very own SF Sketchfest, and features appearances by some of comedy’s most notable and rising entertainers.
Named after San Francisco’s Barbary Coast, The Barbary comedy and variety tent brings world class, cutting edge humor to Golden Gate Park every year. From stand-up to improv, podcasts, storytelling and more, festival goers can enjoy world class comedy in an ideal setting. Due to its popularity The Barbary has expanded this year and the tent is now twice as large to accommodate the huge demand from comedy fans. See the full lineup below:

Outside Lands highlights the city and its environs by putting special emphasis on the food, wine, art and culture that make the Bay Area so unique. For the 2017 festival, fans will have access to 78 Bay Area restaurants, 40+ Northern California wineries, 28 West coast breweries, and a collection of the region’s best cocktail bars. Both GastroMagic, a fan favorite stage devoted entirely to the synergy between culinary and performance art and The Barbary, featuring top names in comedy, podcasts, music, improv and general weirdness will also return to the festival.

As one of the world’s most sustainable large scale events, Outside Lands diverts more waste than any other festival of its size. In 2016, an astonishing 91% of the festival’s waste was reused, recycled or composted.
