Co-produced by Northeast Party House‘s Malcolm Besley, this electro punk banger is best enjoyed turned up to full volume while home alone, dancing with no one watching. Borrowing elements of trap, house and rap, Claire’s signature bratty vocals spit party hooks over gritty beats, urging the listener to “f— it up, and DO IT… now.” Consider this the message you need to break up with the person who’s cramping your style, move out of that sharehouse with the sucky roommate, ditch the job that’s killing your vibe.
Since launching her solo project in late 2022, the Naarm-based artist/DJ has amassed a healthy following of listeners and fans from all around the globe. Raised on a solid diet of mid-2000s indie sleaze, she’s also a purveyor of pop, trap, house, techno and punk. What results is a performance and production style of unique attitude, driving kicks, shredding guitar, sassy vocals and epic drops. Claire’s upcoming debut EP is a journey through these genres, pulled together by the common thread of thumping house beats.
