Kaz James announces special ‘Trip The Light’ New Years Day party
Australian DJ and producer Kaz James has announced details of his highly anticipated New Years Day party, with a stellar cast of names joining the ‘Trip The Light’ producer at Melbourne’s Greenfields Albert Park. Having hosted numerous daytime events for the past decade, Kaz’s NYD parties have become iconic and highly sought-after affairs, with 2018 marking a very special event as Kaz launches his fresh new brand, ‘Trip The Light’, named after his latest single.
Kaz James’ ‘Trip The Light’ party seeks to provide not only the best in new music, with diverse and dynamic sets from the likes of Felix Da Housecat, Crazy P, and Hot Natured’s Ali Love, but also a unique and unrivalled party atmosphere, kicking 2018 off with a bang.
Headed Up by Kaz himself, the ‘Trip The Light’ party follows the Australian producer’s track of the same name, on Nic Fanciulli’s label, Saved. The production gained widespread acclaim, and support on BBC Radio 1 from Pete Tong, using a driving beat and ratting melodies to create an embodiment of Kaz’s tastes for the percussive.
Kaz has enjoyed another huge summer as a resident of Scorpios Mykonos, where he has gained widespread recognition for his vibrant sets and eclectic mixes. Kaz’s previous legendary daytime parties, ‘That Party’, have seen the likes of Seth Troxler, Guy Gerber and Frankie Knuckles join him behind the decks.
