Blinders’ Melt (Tasty) has been a big hit recently for STMPD RCRDS, and now Italian duo Promise Land pump yet more life into it with their huge remix.
The duo take the hyperactive genre-mashing energy of the original and channel it into a driving big room house groove. The vocals feature in the breakdown, but the rest of the time it’s all about chugging bass, pitch-bending melodies and big bold stabs. It’s chunky-ass house music at its best and a perfect compliment to the freestyle vibe of the original.
Hailing from Rome, Promise Land have released many quality productions over the years. Their remix of Swedish House Mafia’s Don’t You Worry Childwas a massive success with major DJ support, and other hits like X-Press, Papaya and Gangsta have helped them build a big fanbase across the world. They have toured the US as well as Asia, and have played key festivals in Europe including Tomorrowland.
Polish talent Blinders came back on STMPD RCRDS for Melt (Tasty) after the success of Okami and Snakecharmer last year and his remix of Martin Garrix and David Guetta’sSo Far Away. This summer will see him play on the STMPD RCRDS stages at Balaton Sound and Tomorrowland as well as at Music Power Explosion in Poland. Believe us when we say you don’t want to miss his high-octane, eclectic sets!
Blinders – Melt (Tasty) Promise Land Remix is released on STMPD RCRDS on June 8th.
