Professional scooter and BMX rider, Ryan Williams (R-Willy) is set to join Robbie Maddison, Pat Bowden, Rob Adelberg and the world’s most exciting crew of extreme motocross riders, The Freestyle Kings this March and April for their Capital City Tour.

Williams launched his own YouTube channel at just 13 years old showcasing himself and his mates skating at the local park. Now at the age of 28 he is showcasing his gravity defying antics on children’s toys and amassed over 6 million followers across social media, and a YouTube channel with over 400 million views.

Today, Williams is arguably the most recognisable face in modern day action sports online.

The fun loving “big kid” is also a fierce competitor, amassing over 20 contest wins across scooter and BMX, including 5 X Games medals, which is considered the action sports Olympics.

R-Willy has been featured on Sportscenter multiple times in the past 12 months, has his own scooter and merch range and has poured most of his career earnings back into an action sports playground in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, where the best in action sports in Australia and all over the world, come to hone their skills, with a view to beating Williams in the next big contest.

I built R-Willy Land to elevate action sports in Australia and take it to the next level. I love seeing my friends succeed on the world stage, I have no problem if they learn a trick in my backyard and beat me in competition with it. That’s why I love action sports, it’s just as enjoyable seeing your friends crush it” Williams said.

R-Willy will bring his BMX antics to the Freestyle Kings Live – Capital City Tour for the first time in March.

I can’t wait to join these legends, there is nothing better than doing what you love with the best in the business! This show is going to be epic!” Said, Williams.

The two-hour indoor choregraphed family fun event is guaranteed to keep fans on the edge of their seats with more excitement than you could imagine. Death-defying stunts and never seen before world firsts along with front flips, double backflips, side by side jumps performed bigger, faster and higher than ever before.  The riders will be hitting heights of over 75 ft from the ground during one huge, choreographed show with pyrotechnics, firebreathers, music, VIP experiences, a Pit Party and much more.

We wanted to take Freestyle Kings to another level in 2023, and there is no bigger name in action sports than R-Willy. He is going to add a whole new dynamic to our family friendly night of organized action sports chaos” Freestyle Kings PromoterJosh Hannah said.

The family friendly event will cater to fans of all-ages and will give them the opportunity to meet their idols at a pre-event meet and greet in an indoor arena which provides a safe environment for all.
