Hollen’s label Prospect Records is a consistent source of dance floor focused party techno releasing hands in the air tracks from many of the world’s best known artists.
The latest release on Prospect Records is from the legendary duo the Filterheadz who have been prolific in consistently releasing tracks that have earned anthemic status, and have featuring on labels ranging from Toolroom to Intec.
Tough and dance floor focused, the original track has a lead vocal sample repeating the word “overdrive” and that’s mixed with some heavy percussion and euphoric synths in the breakdown.
Alongside the original is a remix from Barbuto who’s a rising talent that has showcased his skills releasing on labels including Octopus, Tronic and Phobiq.
Barbuto’s remix stays true to the original but restructures the parts into a bass heavy version that’s got added intensity, and for us it was the remix which caught our attention the most, but both tracks would more than rock a dance floor.
