How did you start?
I started as a Drum n Bass Dj in the 90s. In small and dirty clubs 🙂
Where are you based?
I am now based in Berlin since 8 years.
Please give an example of your music writing process?
I don’t have a certain kind of plan when i am producing. Often is come from travels around the world and i combine the experiences in my music together with loved elements from my studio.
What are you working on right now?
I am working on my album. It will be out in October.
What is your gear setup?
For Live i am using the Roland TR 8, an Allen & Heath Mixer, Ableton Live, soundcard RME, Â APC 40 MK 2, some controllers for example the Korg Nano Contral 2, the Minibrute with Mutron Phaser and Blue Sky Strymon Reverb.
What do you like to do outside of music and does it affect your music?
In my free time i like to walk my dog and i like to enjoy good food. This makes me happy and influences my emotions.
How would you describe your music genre?
Intelligent Deep Cosmic – i don’t like genres like Tech House, Progressive or Deep – music is more.
Do you know any music theory?
Of course i had all this things in school and i play some instruments.
What are your plans for the future?
Continue and make it better 🙂
How did you get into music?
My parents of course listened a lot of music at home. They created a good base for my taste and my emotions regarding music.
What are you listening to at the moment?
I love the new Longplayers of Bonobo, of Feist and i listen to Mononoid which are bringing out an album on my smaller label EIn2. Love the dutch style.
Who are your top 5 influences and icons?
It s really hard to decide as it changes from time to time. I am more influeneced by styled then by names. Love the 80’s, love the classy synth-trance, i listen to Indie and i think the mixture makes it work for me not a single name.
When are you playing next?
My schedule is full. I am on the road every weekend.
Going to Dubai, US, Georgia, Hungary… can’t list it anymore 🙂
