17 year old original artist Ned Dylan has just released Life’s a Rave, the first single from his debut album. The track is produced by Wizard (M.I.A./Wiley/Chemical Brothers/Chase & Status/Alabama 3), Gordon Raphael (the Strokes/Regina Spektor/Hinds) and Mike Freear (Slamboree), who are also handling production for his album.

In the past Ned has played Glastonbury, Bestival, BoomTown, Secret Garden Party, Beautiful Days and many more. He’s also received praise and coverage from American Songwriter, Amazing Radio, BBC News, Sir Tim Rice and Radio 2. Ned will be returning to the stage very soon with an explosive new live set showcasing his new sound.

When asked about the single, Ned said Life’s a Rave was about “’social media, isolation, escapism and how we connect with each other.”

When talking to the Zine UK, Gordon Raphael, one of the producers on the track said “the days we spent together were priceless, his lyrics are seriously challenging and a bit revolutionary. I love working with people who have so much to say. The fact he interviewed Patti Smith when he was 11 and has been playing festival gigs since then too, well that is purely outstanding”.

You can download/stream Life’s a Rave on all major stores right now including Spotify, iTunes, Amazon and Tidal, or watch the video on Youtube.
