How did you start?

My beginning as a DJ was in the year 2000 driven by my older brother Jorge, who was DJ in the time of disco music, he took me to the university of music G.Martell where I learned the first steps to be a good DJ. I quickly understood what it was about and I fell in love with this profession. I continued to learn self-taught. I prepared to learn music production, photography, video and graphic design and with a lot of practice, patience and perseverance, I managed to consolidate my career as a DJ and producer.  I currently have my own recording studio, a solid career as a DJ and a Record Label that distributes its music around the globe.

Where are you based?

I was born and raised in Valle de Aragon in the State of Mexico and right now I live in downtown Mexico City.

Please give an example of your music creative process?

I start creating the chords that I’m going to use then I do the drum beats and after I have all this I do the musical sequence and everything else flows by itself. After I finish I show it to the artists in my record label and if they like it and they think somebody can use it, they take it and write the lyrics. Once they add the lyrics we get together to record the new song.

What are you working on right now?

Currently I’m completely focused on my career as DJ and producer on my record label “909 Studio Mix” creating the musical career of various artists within my label. I’m pionner and co-founder of “Perreo Pesado”, one of the most representative crews of the Latin Urban Music in Mexico. We create spaces of coexistence, underground parties, clothes design and music. I’m also working on the video recording of my next single, which will be available soon in my social network and on the most prestigious digital platforms.

What is your gear setup?

Yes, self-taught, I like to study and learn more and more. Knowledge is power.

What are your plans for the future?

My plans for the future are to continue doing my music. This is what I really like and satisfied me. I’d like to keep having the oportunity to perform wherever I get invite. I plan to complement my music with visual and multimedia content, I would also like to perform in a totally live act show.

How did you get into music?

At the age of 15, influenced by my older brother. He taught me what he knew and supported me in order to learn the basics.

What are you listening to at the moment?

I like to go randomly on the radio and listen all kinds of music to know what is happening outside my studio where I spent most of my time.

When and where are you playing next?

I perform in different areas of Mexico during the weekends, in clubs, in underground parties, festivals, or tv shows. I would like to mention that we had a really big event last Sep 02.
