Where are you currently based?
Hi ! I am based in Ibiza.
You’ve played all over the world for over 15 years, how has the dance scene changed since you started?
The public has become more aware. They know exactly what they like and what they are going for. Everybody has access to the Internet, everyone is in the loop.
How did you get into DJing, producing and remixing?
I started 19 years ago, I was making a different type of electronic music. My first track was really popular and I started touring; shortly after I was playing live sets and DJing everywhere.

When and where was your first show? How was the experience?
It was in 2003 in Mexico City. Was the best and the most terrifying experience ever! I played for a crowd of 4.000 for my first live and DJ set !
You have huge shows coming up!
Indeed I do. On November 3rd, 9th, 17th, 23rd and 30th I’ll perform at various venues in Ibiza. I also have a date on December 7th, still in Ibiza. Then on the 9th I’ll perform at the Form Music label (founded by French heavyweight POPOF) Showcase at Bikini club (Toulouse, France), with OXIA, Julian Jeweil and POPOF… Then I’ll be back in Ibiza for a date on December 14th, and two days later it’s the UK at Amusement 13 (Birmingham).
How has Ibiza been for you this year?
Really good, I played in some of the coolest venues such as The Zoo project and Paradise party @ Dc10. I also played in many private villa parties, where the vibes were incredible and where the party does not stop for 48 hours.

Favourite show of the year and why?
Paradise party @ DC10, definitely. First, because I just love DC10, it’s one of my favorite clubs in the world. Also, because I shared the stage with Jamie Jones, Marco Carola, Kink and a few others. The lineup was huge !
What programs and equipment do you use to produce and when playing live?
I have been using Logic for 18 years now and I use lots of intern plugs. I also use a lot my Moog little phatty. I used to played live 16 channels connected straight to the console but now I am more into digital and DJ sets.

How do your collaborations with other artists usually come about?
Well I collaborate with many people, some I’ve just met but have a really good feeling with, and some I’ve known for a long time and with whom I know how our souls can connect.

In my studio in Ibiza
With such a busy schedule, how do you stay creative and find new influences which is keep your sound so fresh?
I am lucky to live in Ibiza round the year, where all the DJs of the world flock to mix every day for 6 months during the season! So I go out a lot and listen to many different styles and artists.

Who are you listening to at the moment?
I originally come from an island (New Caledonia) where we’re huge reggae fans, so I’m currently listening to a lot of Bob Marley.
What and who influences your sound
I love mixing real instrument players and singers and I love vocals, that’s why as soon as I hear a great singer I want to record his or her voice!
Favourite food and place to hangout?
I love to eat . Any kind of food is good ! Love red wine as well
As for my favorite hangout I’d say “Hotel Es Vive ” in Ibiza.
