Seminal cult French label Roche Musique is pleased to announce details of a special one of London show at Camden Assembly on 31st August with Darius and label owner Cézaire in support of Darius’ current tour of his new album ‘Utopia’.
A rising star of the burgeoning label that includes fellow alumni like FKJ (French Kiwi Juice), Kartell, Crayon, Zimmer and many more, Darius demonstrates the quality work ethic often associated with Roche Musique. The accolades received for the release of his new album ‘Utopia’ is a testament to that and was described by Earmilk as “beautiful, undisturbed and
expressive”.
To celebrate it’s release, Darius will be performing tracks from the album live; and as an inaugural player of the recent house music movement taking its roots in France, the audience can expect a seamless mix of uplifting house, disco and funk, while adding a certain underground intricacy to his music, establishing himself as a formidable player on the scene. And as a special London treat, Darius will be joined by the founder of Roche Musique, DJ and producer, Cézaire, who will bring his heavy and powerful basslines, modern funk, nu-groove and g-funk samples to the party.
