BRANDEUS RETURNS WITH NEW TRAP POP SINGLE SCARED AVAILABLE MARCH 8TH

by the partae
Already dropping his second project for 2019, young Gold Coast-based emcee Brandeus returns with his new emotive and up-tempo single ‘Scared’, set for release on March 8th. After releasing his debut EP ‘Reviere’ in January 2019 that featured his hit single ‘War’ which has now accumulated over 90,000 streams on Spotify alone, it’s clear that Brandeus has a style that is captivating and positioning him at the forefront of the new wave of talent emerging from Australia of late. Drawing inspiration from a vast range of muses including Pearl Jam, John Mayer, Eminem and B.I.G, Brandeus has moulded his own unique style that portrays a balanced blend between the old school and the new school. With lyrical punchlines and melodic cadences falling throughout his EP a similarity can be drawn between his style and artists like Ty Dolla $ign and Jaden Smith. Scared also offers a melodic driving hook sampled from XXXTentacion and produced in Berlin by TheCratez that creates a melancholic undertone to the retrospective love song. Showing his experience of breaking up with a partner and the fear it can cause for falling in love again, Scared breaks down the possibilities of a relationship with Brandeus singing “I’m scared to love you, I’m scared to love you”.
