Sydney’s biggest emo night AM//PM is thrilled to announced they’ll takeover Brisbane’s renowned ‘home of heavy’ Crowbar for one hot night this Labor Day eve on May 6 – taking back Sunday to bring the golden era of emo back to Fortitude Valley. Over two floors, the night will be headed by Little Brother and a banging band lineup, plus a special guest DJ set by Tonight Alive.

Tickets are on sale now via ampmemonight.com

Leading band duties for AM//PM’s inaugural Brisbane event is Little Brother out of Newcastle – the acoustic side-project of Trophy Eyes frontman John Floreani – who will light up the stage with his raw and emotive tunes. Joining him on the lineup are a trio of local Brisbanites, including acoustic pop/punk singer-songwriter Beth Lucas, punk rockers Satellites and alternative emo punk quartet Sleepwell.

Relive your melancholic youth in the EMO ROOM with tunes by iconic emo overlords including My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, Paramore, Alexisonfire and more, plus very special guest Jake Hardy from Tonight Alive jumping on the decks for a not-to-be-missed DJ set.

One year into it’s conception, and AM//PM has delivered some of the countries most unforgettable nights, from a warm up party for Victoria’s UNIFY Gathering, to huge performances starring local scene legends including Hellions, Deez Nuts, Justice For The Damned and a special covers set featuring members of Northlane and Polaris. Founded by The Neighbourhood’s Toby ‘Norman’ Bramley, Dawson Michaels and Thomas Milgate, the trio of passionate promoters will continue to join forces and find creative ways to celebrate the music they love and the music you grew up with. Emo forever!
