Singer songwriter Niall Horan is thrilled to announce his first solo Australian promotional tour later this month. Horan will be in Sydney from June 29 for media engagements, including a performance on Channel 9’s The Voice Grand Finale.

Horan is riding high on the back of his Platinum hit, the ARIA No. 3 / Top 10 airplay single Slow Hands, which follows a top 5 result for his debut single This Town. Slow Hands, co-written by Niall and produced by Julian Bunetta, shows off his assured vocals and a languorous guitar rhythm, a nod to the early 80’s music that has influenced him in recent times. Niall stole the show on the US Tonight Show recently, undertaking the Instant Song Challenge with Jimmy Fallon – view HERE. He also performed Slow Hands live at the One Love Manchester charity concert event.
Horan’s debut single This Town has been certified Platinum in Australia and the U.S. and has sold more than three million track equivalent units globally. Combined streams now surpass 350 million worldwide. It reached No. 1 in 60 countries, including iTunes in Australia, topped the Shazam chart in numerous countries and in the first 24 hours of its release, became the #1 trending topic worldwide on Twitter. It also achieved a top 15 airplay result in Australia. Views of his “1 Mic 1 Take” performance of This Town now exceed 35 million. TIME said, “‘This Town’ is a lush, guitar-forward ballad” and Entertainment Weekly hailed it as “a wistful tale of young love lost.”
