How did you start?
I’ve been playing music since I was very young, beginning with classical music then into jazz and eventually into punk. After many attempts of working with people I started to buy a bunch of different kinds of gear, DJ and produce music on my own.
Where are you based?
Please give an example of your music creative process?
I’m always buying used records and sampling experimenting with ableton since I bought it. Usually it’s a song that inspires me to mess with it or recreate it. The joy is when it turns in directions you always can’t predict.
What are you working on right now?
This summer has been about working on my 2nd LP. So far so good.

What is your gear setup?
I have a variety of synths and keyboards that I’ve had over the years. Korg Polysix, SH101, alpha juno 2…I run everything thru my RE-201 and UA pre amp.
What do you like to do outside of music and does it affect your music?
I like to cook and go to the ballpark. I live pretty much on top of the East River and try to stay connected to the water like I did growing up.
How would you describe your music genre?
Do you know any music theory?
Hmmm that used to be part of my day to day. I should pick that up again, nowadays I play mostly by ear.
What are your plans for the future?
Lots of ideas just not gonna share em just yet.
How did you get into music?
There was always music on where I grew up. My parents put an instrument in my hands and I played everyday since. Then I just keep collecting and learning new instruments as I grew. I’m still picking up stuff here and there.
What are you listening to at the moment?
Currently listening to demos for Let’s Play House as I type.
Who are your top 5 influences and icons?
Ron Hardy, Roberto Clemente, Ian Mackaye, Maurice Fulton and David Sedaris.
When are you playing next?
Heading to Australia this week: Melbourne on Saturday and Boiler Room on Sunday in Sydney!
